Why Christus Lumen exists.
Christus Lumen means the Light of Christ. I started this project for a simple reason: most days, faith has to survive the ordinary noise of life, work, deadlines, a full house, a long to-do list. This site is a collection of reminders for the days in between: short reflections, the Church’s own prayers, and clear explanations of what Catholics believe and why.
I write for people trying to hold onto their faith in the middle of real, busy lives, especially parents raising kids in a world that doesn’t make that easy. Nothing here replaces your pastor or your parish; think of it as a companion for the ordinary days, not a substitute for the sacraments or for the people God has actually placed in your life.
Everything here strives for fidelity to the teaching of the Catholic Church.
