Christus Lumen respects your privacy. This page explains what information is collected when you visit this site or sign up for anything on it, and how it’s used.
What We Collect
If you sign up for the newsletter or a free download, we collect your email address through our email provider, Kit. That’s the only personal information we ask for directly.
If you contact us by email, we naturally receive whatever information you choose to include in that message.
If you make a contribution through Support the Mission, that transaction is handled entirely by Ko-fi and its payment processors (PayPal and/or Stripe). We do not see or store your payment details; Christus Lumen only receives confirmation that a contribution was made.
How We Use It
Your email address is used to send you the newsletter, deliver any free resource you requested, and, if you’ve purchased a digital product, to deliver that as well. We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes.
Third-Party Services
This site relies on a few outside services to function:
- Kit (email delivery and list management)
- Ko-fi, along with PayPal and/or Stripe (payment processing for Support the Mission)
- Hostinger (web hosting)
- Google Analytics (site usage statistics)
Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data, and we encourage you to review theirs if you’d like more detail on their specific practices.
Cookies and Analytics
This site uses standard technical cookies necessary for WordPress to function, along with Google Analytics, which helps us understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are read most and how people arrive here. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect this information anonymously and in aggregate; it does not identify you personally.
You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites using Google’s own opt-out browser add-on, or by adjusting your browser’s cookie settings directly.
We do not currently run advertising cookies or third-party ad tracking of any kind.
Unsubscribing
Every email from Christus Lumen includes an unsubscribe link. You can opt out at any time, no explanation needed.
Children’s Privacy
Christus Lumen is intended for adult readers, including parents seeking guidance for raising their children in the faith. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you’d like to know what information we have about you, or would like it deleted, email us at hello@christuslumen.com and we’ll take care of it.
